As Summer ascends to the heavens, I reflect on the memories that we (the small bunch who stayed for Summer) shared with Summer. The bitter-sweet memories that we shared made life on this lonely planet worth living. Being a tertiary student, its hard to bond sometimes with people coming and going every three months or. It is then when you realise that life is just simply too short to whine, to ignore, to say 'No'. Because everyone will do it. One day, they will ask themselves... "what if..." We cannot escape from it, but we could deal less of it if we just dive in to the flow of life and see where it takes us. I said "No" once too many time to Summer.
Summer showed me, of all things... Beauty. The awkward and silly moments, bundled with buckets of laughter. Thank you Summer, life has been beautiful.
As Helen Keller once said..."The best and most beautiful things in the world cannot be seen or even touched. They must be felt with the heart".
To Summer, until we meet again... you will be missed
I dedicate this beautiful song from my yester-years to Summer.
...End
