went for basketball try-outs today. before the try-outs i played a few 4 on 4 with the locals and freshies. good games...until this girl came in created a disturbance in the force. watching girls play, its nice and yet decreases your morale whenever they make shots IN YOUR FACE! then, it started drizzling a bit, so i chilled in the shade waiting for it to stop. got to know a freshman, i feel bad for him cause he wasnt selected during the 1st try-outs and also the 2nd which was today. basketball was never about height, its about how you move, with or without the ball...thats what i told him and stuff like that. apparently he's new to basketball.
when try-outs came, we're separated into 2 groups, Centers and the Guards. Centers split into groups of 2 and the guards were added in. first game of 5 on 5, i think we played pretty well, we controlled the momentum. 2nd was alright but then i realized i'm being pushed by this irritating, annoying, bossy, short, lousy, no good, geek looking guard. SHUT UP! "u keep pushing me boy...and i'll strap u with the aliens"...every strategy move had a flaw cause not every1 knew what he's talking about. "who died and made U team captain?" i looked to my friend who is who is the center...he just shake his head. and we told the so called 'captain' that a zone defense is useless against sharp shooters...if they cant dribble in, they'll shoot. well, he ignored us completely so...who cares. most of the time...its like i wasnt there anyway.
in the end, i wasnt selected...i think. i was too lazy to wait. after the games, the so call 'coach' selected players to play another 5 on 5. at that time i realised..."k i'm not in anymore" and i was super starving! then i also realized...he's quite buddy-buddy with the players he selected...and 90% of the freshies wasnt selected(some was way better than the chosen ones)... bias much? who knows la, thats life...it sux. i dun take highly of state players calling themselves 'coach'. go-2-ell

Yo! Yea, people with "power" tend to test the waters or "use" them in ways which favour them.. Not to worry! We all know you can play well! ;)
