Death race is an great movie. full of action with a good storyline. starring Jason Statham, Joan Allen, Ian McShane, Tyrese Gibson, and Natalie Martinez. Statham is back with his trademark, throwing punches and driving fast cars.
the cars was overkill. heavily armed and very deadly with machine guns, RPGs and armor plating. it makes me wonder if the cars could really carry all those equipments. there a nice line up of cars such as a mustang, 911, dodge ram, chrysler 300c and a bmw.
each car has a team where they each are given a workshop to work on their car. there were some funny scenes. my favourite would be the chinese guy, 14K. he has only one line and his line was the funniest no doubt. after killing an opponent, 14K: "ngo qew meh meng?, sap sei K thats my name". totally LOL. everyone was laughing(well all 20 of us i think, i expected more). Go watch it!
