last week i went to jun's robotic shop at summit to discuss about my project and also ying's project, WARMAN. i chose to do an air cushion loading trolley. instead of wheels, it would run on a cushion of air...just like a hovercraft. wanted to see if he have any parts for sale, mayb a motor or 2...unfortunately it wasnt the ones i was looking for (i had in mind those heavy duty ones). he did gave me a good idea on how to make my prototype though...just strap a pc fan on to a piece of plastic tupperware(why didnt i thought of that?). and thats that, not much to talk about mine so we move on to ying's project...

today there was a talk on fuel cells in college by a englishman from the university of manchester. it wasnt exactly in our field of studies but he tried to make it interesting. however every time when theres a speech or event, they dont get much feedback from the students. 1st thing is that there arent much advertisement on them and the notice board is mostly filled with yester-years junk. 2nd is that the students are too lazy to get their asses there.

middle of the talk, came in a boy. he looks like a...kid, still in secondary school i think. when the speaker asked a question bout methods of getting hydrogen, he raised his hand and answered loud and clear. i'm impressed... maybe it was thought in secondary...heck i've forgotten most of my KIMIA already so i just kept quiet.

my friend got owned by this kid when he answered to. he said can get hydrogen from the air...er u cant, there's no hydrogen in the air and in room temperature it is too light and will rise to the ozon or something, answered casually by the lil kid(...dont play play). he's definitely the odd 1 out being so young, wearing school shirt and jeans with those thick frame glasses. feeling like a noob, my friend and all the other college students kept their mouth shut for the rest of the talk. since tomorrow is a public holiday i went to FTZ to play a few round of games before heading home.

been playing this for a while. my IGN is Wasabi, fear me...hehe. never expected it would be this good when it was release end of last year...straight away it was the game of the year 2007. http://www.gamespot.com/best-of/gameoftheyear/index.html?page=2 not much people playing it in FTZ but it almost took over DOTA as the most played game in the cc at 1 time... COD 4, very realistic, very detailed. the multiplayer gameplay style is nice, something like Css+Battlefield+Unreal hybrid. there's a wide range of weapons, upgrades and some really nice maps . a nice game, go crazy...
