This semester started with tonnes of ice-breaking during the orientation week. i volunteered to help the International Student Services during the international student orientation. malaysians, singaporeans, italians, danish... you name it. undergraduates to post graduate... semua ada.
there was a bushdance dinner where international students get a taste of the australian culture. there was a boomerang demonstration... traditional dances... and irish music apprently. Matt, out taiko... was going all out during the dance, and he wasnt even drunk... good on you mate...
drank more than usual during the holidays. i dont usually drink at all except for celebrations... during the bushdance, a dude sitting next to me puked! despite that... he still acts cool and calm... saying "i'm alright, just need to drink more to keep it down... later on he passed out". he drank pretty much all the brands of beer from the bar. well why not... they're free... lol
