Escargot? no, the S-cargo...

few weeks ago when i was at Summit with my friends, at the basement parking lot we saw... i think 1 of the most er... "unique" car i have ever seen. as i take a closer look...it was automatic and it has S-cargo written at the back. i went, OMG...and stood back and looked at it. ... it does looks like a snail (escargot, the french word for snail). a petrol powered automatic transmission snail...

being so, i was very curious of what car company would come up with this model. so i google-ed it and was quite shock of what i have found. it was Nissan behind the S-cargo (small-cargo). it was manufactured in 1989-1992 and ...it is actually a van.

the S-cargo is equip with a 1.5 litre 4 cylinder petrol engine. it looks like(a snail)...it came out of a Jetsons cartoon or something. it also said that because of the design or the van is so er... "eye catching" it had been use by McDonalds and KFC as mobile billboards...genius . it was initially marketed only in Japan. O.o, wow...this lil 'escargot' made quite a trip...being such a long way from home
