last week i signed up for a basketball 3 on 3 tournament at my college organized by the Inti college's STACT club...so call, for charity. since my 1st semester i had not step on to my college basketball court so i'm quite curious to know how they play. so one day i decided to take a look...i was also trying to get use to the court as well. being the new guy on the court is pretty tough(brings back memories), especially when nobody knows u, u weigh as much as a fridge and was wearing dorky glasses........O.o" so i began like all newcomers by sitting at the sidelines waiting for a chance to play. after the locals got tired and sat down. me and a few others went to shoot for team and i start playing not long after. laugh out loud we got trashed(7:1) by the winning team. they're really fast and really really tall.
yesterday was the day of the tournament. it started at 7pm and lasted till 10 something...damn i was so hungry at the time, not to mention the 8-6pm classes i had...and it had to rain before the competition so it was real slippery. we played 3 games and won( 7:3, 11:5 ) 2 of them. the last game which will bring us to the semis...we just couldnt hang on and we lost(5:8). the opponents, one was short and fast and the others was taller than me(my height is only up to his shoulder)... bummer. we were shooting 3-pointers like crazy because it is counted as 2 points. so after that...apa lagi?balik...makan, tidur.
not too long ago when writing this, my mom called said my 'kam po' passed away. she was very ill and she'd fought for so long . i wish her peace......"PEAce!"
