one saturday

today is the first day after my exam. now there's about 2 months of holiday. wondering, should i get a job? vacation? go on a health plan?

the day started out just like any other saturday, sunny morning, absorbed as much saturday-morning cartoons as possible and went for breakfast at the usual kopitiam. before even my exam week is over, my mom ask me to get a job close to my field of studies, engineering. first thing she did was open up the Star newspaper classifieds and said " see got a lot of companies hiring mech engineers "...she kept going on and on and on... probably bout 10 minutes worth...

in my mind i was thinking of jobs outside the box, u know...something different, something un-engineering- like. then she asked me to go help out at my dad's shop. maybe i'll consider to go lepak there once in a while but working there...getting paid? dont think so. its more like doing chores at home to me...same thing different place except sometimes you get to tend to customers..." miss can i help u?", "bang, cari sunglasses r?".

guess i'll stay home only la. since my dad always complaint day in day out, there's so many things to be done at home...better stay home, dont get paid than listening to his bla bla bla... later in the afternoon, ys called me go tuition at ftz. haih, lose 2 matches...i always ponteng class. i never pay tuition fees thats why so lousy. must study more ler i think this holiday time...
