Lets see... the movie, resident evil extinction was released this week. some of my friends said its not as interesting as the first two. well, only way is to watch it my self. i done my first test for the semester...its okok la. the subs i'm taking are being thought by two new lectures. apparently they are pretty good. both of them have pretty high qualifications and also different styles of teaching.
teaching workshop tech is a malay lecturer and he has the most uniq style of teaching i've ever seen. (well he still cant compete with my form 5 teacher anyway...she's whack!). i tell you, workshop tech can either be the most interesting or the most boring sub ever. so far he manage to make it a little interesting. this subjects requires less calculation and tons of reading hours. he gives us notes and read then each of us will be given a question and asked to present the answer. besides the presentation, this sub has the most portfolios ever!!...got around 8 and it is not including assigments...bummer. he even had a one on one interview with all of the students. i was like stunned "wha?" o.O the interview was about the subject. he wrote our names on the board and asked us to choose an animal and write it next to our name. i wrote mouse whereas one of my friend changed from crow to spider. then he said " k the order of the interview starts with the smallest to the biggest animal" all of us was like " chaa thoo" and the friend of mine did something suicidal by changing to spider.
mechanics of machine is thought by a chinese guy. his qualifications is really high. masters in mechanical engineering? no Ir though. studied with a scholarship...must be the study type. he's really the professional type, and the first lecturer i know that does everything by the books. even changing classroom to the one next door, he gotta go through the paper work... unfortunately he was new in subang and he doesnt know how notorious can the municipal council be in traffic control. within the first week, he got a summon and his car was towed, all on the first day of work. he parked in the housing area near my college. there was no line there or anything but i guess its againts the traffic rule or something.
let me give a few tip for those drivers out there who are new or studying in subang especially in ss15 area. there's an impund lot there where they keep the towed cars. so pratically your parking on their turf. do not double park or park where there are no parking box. your vehicle will get towed for sure. unless you have plain sight of your vehicle or have really really deep pockets and dont mind paying the fines. this week, i've seen 3 cars being towed, 2 on the same day and 1 the next day (ALL FROM THE SAME SPOT). u'll think people will notice already? those tow truck crew...they're like professional F1 pit crews...very the effision, fast and furious... they're other alternatives, you'll just gotta look harder...maybe somewhere over the "river"?.
