It is already the month of May and the timetables for the final exams has been published. constantly buried under assignments, there was no real chance of sitting down a nice time of 'hitting the books'. i guess choosing the subs i chose wasn't such a good idea after all... but it was pretty interesting(nerd~much), mostly things to do with materials properties and such. had to do use neighbouring uni's vacuum mould machine as our workshop is currently undergoing renovations and the machines, in storage. spent a few hours with a electron microscope, had to analyse elements contained in a material. even looked at some flowers... which looked pretty weird under high magnifications. had to rush to submit an assignment today. with 2 meals of mackers(McD), running on caffeine, processed meat and apple pies, me and my group mates manage to pull it through. submitted 3 assignments for the 1st week of May, stay tuned for more.
In a attempt to release some stress, i went and competed in a little bowling competition organized by a club from uni. it was pretty fun, some how there's always something or somebody to laugh at bowling.smashing them pins really helped me reset my mind for the hectic month of May. played 3 games and the score... well lets say my dad would've put me to shame XD

besides the exams, the winter games are around the corners and the basketball team looks pretty good this year. mostly newbies but they're good and everyone is getting along well. i on the other hand seems to be loosing my touch.. haven't been able to perform the way i intended to. i was bummed that i was not chosen to play for my hall... sigh, life goes on. the weather aint helping as well as temperatures are within the single digit range nowadays. suffocating sometimes when you're playing sports, like there's not enough air to go around...
one of the events in April that i will remember the most is a gathering dinner at a restaurant where its name i shall not mention. it took the cook almost 2 hours to completely serve the whole table(8 of us)...wth? keyword, 'service'... look it up. and the restaurant wasn't even full. i also personally witnessed the power of make up. a friend of mine shock us all with her so-called "little effort" yesterday... wow

hahaha... yea we should bowl this winter break. i might be going dwn to melbourne, u too right? lets meet up and bowl then...
me, first exam paper next friday. damnn... this semester really flies. how bout u, whats happening lately?
